Cathy-Lea boasts an outstanding teaching faculty who are experts in their fields, including highly qualified teachers and trainers, as well as practising professional performers and choreographers.
Cathy-Lea staff are educated in Safe Dance, First Aid, teaching practice, and are registered with various professional associations including Ausdance VIC, Cecchetti International Classical Ballet, the Australian Teachers of Dancing, the Southern Federation of Dance, Trinity Guildhall and the Australian Music Examination Board.
Cathy-Lea is committed to Child Safety and staff are trained in Child Safety practices and procedures. We engage in inclusive teaching and welcome students of all abilities, of varied cultural backgrounds and of gender diversity. We also offer classes for children with disability and those seeking extension or vocational training.
