Tara Smith grew up in Cathy-Lea training in all styles of Dance and performing arts Dance from a young age. She also trained in gymnastics and acrobatics.
Tara has completed examinations in Cecchetti Classical Ballet, and ATOD Jazz and Tap to Advanced levels. She was member of Cathy-Lea elite troupes of manty years competing at eisteddfods, performing at cabarets, concerts and community events. She s also a highly awarded solo performer and has won places at state and national championships. She has danced at Disneyland in Anaheim, Hong Kong, Orlando and Paris and has taken dance classes in USA, London, Paris and Hong Kong. Tara trained fulltime at Brent Street Studios in Sydney on scholarship, and has a Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) with a focus in performing arts. She is an accredited teacher of Ready Set Dance pre-school program. Tara balances her time studying Sports Science and Business, with a busy teaching load at Cathy-Lea Studios |
