Karen started training in UK at a young age. She has taught dance in all genres over the past 35 years. Karen has performed in shows such as “Cabaret,” and “Thoroughly Modern Millie” and has performed professionally on television and in cabaret shows.
Karen has choreographed many musicals including “A Chorus Line,” “Spamalot,” “Cats,” “Legally Blonde,” and “Guys and Dolls.” She has worked as an adjudicator at dance eisteddfods across Victoria. (Some of our students may have encountered her in this arena)! In the last 15 years her focus has been on teaching Tap and she has had enormous success guiding students to place highly in dance competitions. She is recognized as one of the leading Tap teachers in Melbourne. Her main aim these days is to share her vast experience in teaching and choreographing for dance schools with the next generation of dance students. Karen specializes in Tap solos and duos for eisteddfods and is available for private tuition for students in our Elite Training Program. |
