Holly Neale is one of Cathy-Lea’s most highly awarded dancers. She trained at Cathy-Lea from a young age and has completed exams to Advanced level in ATOD Jazz and Tap and Cecchetti International Ballet with top Honours results in all styles.
Holly was awarded a Dance scholarship to complete her secondary education at Beaconhills College. She received the Premier’s Award for VCE Dance and was selected to perform at ‘Top Class’ as one of the best technical dance soloists in her VCE year.. She has won Jazz and Tap scholarships at both state and Australasian levels in Junior, Intermediate and Senior ATOD events. Holly was selected to train with Rebecca Davies’ elite Architect Squadron and was notable for incredible turning ability. She was offered a scholarship to dance full time at Spectrum Dance but turned it down in favour of pursuing a university degree on bio medicine. Holly has been dancing with Monash University Dance team for the past 2 years. She won a national championship and was selected to go to World Championships. Holly has performed with Indefinite Dance Company in ‘Grounded’ and ‘Masters of Choreography’. Holly is completing a Masters in Physiotherapy as well as teaching Jazz, Tap and Lyrical in our Elite Training Program in 2024. |
