Laura’s early studies were through the Royal Academy of Dance where she completed her Solo Seal. She then trained with the English National Ballet School in London for 3 years graduating with a Diploma in Professional Dance.
Laura danced for 5 years with the English National Ballet and Scottish Ballet performing Soloist and Corps de Ballet roles touring around the UK, Italy and America before crossing into ballroom dancing and competing internationally in that genre. Laura is currently a specialist Ballet coach at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, helping them prepare for careers in dance, and preparing them for national and international competitions. Laura loves sharing her experience through teaching. She is delivering sessional tuition to elite Ballet students at Cathy-Lea in 2023. |
