Charlotte Jane is a professional vocalist, violinist and coach, with extensive experience as a performer and teacher for individual and group tuition. Suitable for exams, competitions, audition preparation and professional development.
 
As a professional musician, Charlotte Jane has performed for events, festivals and concerts across Australia & New Zealand in musical theatre, contemporary, gospel and jazz, including leading & directing her band for high profile public and corporate events. She has been the vocal adjudicator for ‘Casey’s Got Talent’ at Bunjil Place Theatre, ‘Star Search for A Cause’ 2017-2019, leads the music team at Casey City Church and is the Creative Director for Carols by Twilight, drawing audiences of 7000+ annually. She holds a Graduate Certificate of Vocal Pedagogy from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and won Scholarship awards for her Performance Certificate Violin levels (Trinity College London).
 
As a teacher, Charlotte Jane has extensive experience with a wide range of ages and abilities, both from her private studio and music centers, catering tuition to the individual’s needs and making classes as fun or as advanced as appropriate for professional singers. She draws upon established techniques and pedagogy to enhance the development and performance in each individual. Private vocal tuition for beginners to advanced, developing healthy vocal technique and maximizing individual potential, covering styles including musical theatre, contemporary, RnB, pop, soul & jazz.
 
Teaching Experience
  • Charlotte Jane’s students have completed VCE Singing, Grade 8 AMEB, and industry level engagements.
  • Private tuition for beginner to Grade 5 AMEB violin, using a combination of Suzuki and traditional based pedagogy.
  • Private studio, music centers, and guest string ensemble direction at Rivercrest Christian College. Vocal workshops & intensives for choral ensembles, music groups, churches and advanced students.
  • Homeschool Choir Network 2008-2009 Australian PopKidz (Jonathan Welch, Choir Of Hard Knocks)
  • 2003-2006 Choral teaching for young beginners through to adult ensembles with group sizes of 6-40 members, with material covering classical, folk, soul & contemporary. Multiple groups & locations.
  • Choral coaching under the direction of Jonathan Welch, for children aged 4-17 years incorporating singing and movement, specializing in pop, contemporary and musical theatre. Multiple groups and locations.
