Heath Anthony owns his own creative project company called DIRECTION MGMT and has been working between New York City and Melbourne for the last 9 years. Heath has trained with the Australian Ballet School, Victorian College of the Arts and has an Advanced Diploma in Dance from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
Working with The Australian Ballet, the West Australian Ballet and WAPPA on stage, Heath has extensive performance experience with credits including Don Quixote, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, (Australian Ballet) Romeo and Juliet, Giselle, La Fille Mall Gardee (West Australian Ballet) KORA choreographed by international choreographer Amaury Lebrun, RITES, choreographed by international choreographer Jo Funaki and Rite of Spring, touring with international choreographer Xiaoxong Zhan while studying at WAAPA. Heath was also accepted into the Joffrey Ballet School in New York. While working in NY Heath learned and created choreography for his own company but also for Musical Theatre including Billy Elliot, Hairspray, Pippin’, Honeymoon in Vegas, and 42nd Street. Heath has taught in a variety of dance studios over the past 8 years. He is delighted to be sharing his knowledge and experience with students at Cathy-Lea Studios! |
