Carmen began her dance journey at Cathy-Lea Studios, where she trained in all styles of dance. As part of the elite program, she competed in numerous competitions and eisteddfods, performing in troupes as well as solos and duos. In addition to her competitive experience, she also completed dance examinations in jazz, ballet, and tap through her regular studio classes.
Throughout her time at the studio, Carmen had the incredible opportunity to perform at world-renowned locations, including Disneyland and Universal Studios in both Los Angeles and Orlando, as well as theme parks in Queensland. While traveling, she also took masterclasses at some of the most prestigious dance studios worldwide, further refining her technique and artistry. Now, alongside her passion for dance, Carmen is completing her Bachelor of Science at Monash University with an extended major in Psychology. She is excited to share her knowledge, experience, and love of dance with the next generation of performers. |
