Cathy-Lea is proud of its outstanding teaching faculty, all of whom are highly qualified teachers and performance professionals. Cathy-Lea staff practice SafeDance and are registered with various professional associations including AusDance, Cecchetti International Classical Ballet, the Australian Teachers of Dancing and the Southern Federation of Dance.

Kylie has been involved in Cathy- Lea for over 20 years, she has completed her Dance exams with Southern Federation of Dance in Tap and Jazz and Cecchetti Ballet.
She has completed the Southern Federation of Dance Teachers' course and completed modules of Certificate III in Community Recreation (Dance) course.
Kylie has two young children herself and also works part time as a Nurse Specialist having completed her post Graduate Certificate in Haematology Nursing.
Kylie has taught the Special Dance program for over 10 years as well as the Junior Dance students.
She works with Children and Adults with special needs in the dance setting and at work as a Nurse, and brings the understanding and patience needed to class to make it a fun and supportive environment for everyone.
Kylie is passionate about bringing her love of dance and performing to the children she teaches.
She feels so fortunate that while teaching Dance, she gets to be a part of watching the students grow, achieve and make life long memories through Cathy-Lea Dance Works just as she did growing up here.
