Jye trained at Ministry of Dance and Patricks Studios Australia.
He has performed throughout Melbourne and internationally, recently having returned from his third contract with Norwegian Cruise Lines where he was appointed aerial captain. Whilst on board Jye had the privilege of working with world renowned Broadway choreographer Patti Wilcox (Motown: The Musical) and dancer Chase Benz (Britney Spears: The Femme Fatale Tour). He also danced alongside Kelly Rowland and Jason Derulo on the tv show 'Everybody Dance Now Australia'. Jye is now home from ships to focus on his passion for teaching dance. He has choreographed award-winning solos and troupes for other studios and hopes to do the same for Cathy-Lea students! Jye enjoys building rapport with students and working them hard to push their limits to bring out their best. He is an energetic and passionate teacher. Jye works with students in our Elite Training Program, bringing current industry style and choreography to his classes. |
