Cathy-Lea is proud of its outstanding teaching faculty, all of whom are highly qualified teachers and performance professionals. Cathy-Lea staff practice SafeDance and are registered with various professional associations including AusDance, Cecchetti International Classical Ballet, the Australian Teachers of Dancing and the Southern Federation of Dance.
Jess Phillippi is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre.
She commenced her training at KCs School of Dance in Warragul where she completed her Advanced 1 Classical Ballet exam with Karen Freeman. She then completed the “Showfit” full time course at Centrestage Performing Arts School.
Jess is has trained to a professional level Voice, Ballet, Jazz Tap, Drama and Musical Theatre and has studied under many world-renowned teachers including Margaret Illman, Christabel Ellis, Paul Davis, Campbell McKenzie, Sue-Ellen Shook and Dr Aaron Hales.
We are delighted that she brings this amazing array of skills to her teaching at Cathy-Lea.
