Cathy-Lea is proud of its outstanding teaching faculty, all of whom are highly qualified teachers and performance professionals. Cathy-Lea staff practice SafeDance and are registered with various professional associations including AusDance, Cecchetti International Classical Ballet, the Australian Teachers of Dancing and the Southern Federation of Dance.
Cassie Conway has a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology and practises as an accredited Exercise Physiologist at YMCA Casey RACE. She also holds a qualification in Clinical Pilates.
Cassie has worked with dancers at the Australian Ballet School and Victorian College of the Arts, and is excited to bring the latest developments in dance medicine and exercise science to Cathy-Lea students. She has presented at several international conferences regarding research she has done into dance training and injury prevention, some of which has involved studies she has done with Cathy-Lea students!
Cassie is an accomplished dancer, having completing her level 10 exams in Jazz and Tap with Southern Federation of Dance and Advanced 2 in Cecchetti Classical Ballet at Cathy-Lea.
She is passionate about facilitating injury prevention training for dancers and works closely with students in our Elite Training Program.
